Early Learning Opportunities at Queens Library

An experienced financial executive, Aaron Packles currently serves as the Head of North American Depository Institutions for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York. Aaron Packles balances his professional pursuits with a range of charitable activities, including support for the Queens Library Foundation, which raises funds for the programs and services on offer at Queens Library.

Thanks to private donations and grants, Queens Library offers quality learning opportunities to library visitors through initiatives such as the Early Learning Program. Queens Library hosts “story time” on a daily basis, giving toddlers and infants the opportunity to talk, sing, and read in different languages at a young age.

In addition, Queens Library offers pre-school programs, including Family Place and planned, multi-session educational programs, such as “Kick off to Kindergarten” and Toddler Learning Centers. The Kick-off to Kindergarten program exposes children to age-appropriate learning opportunities and helps their families prepare them for the school-at-home experience.
